High Performance Cricket will inspire the enjoyment and enhance the development of all cricketers, coaches, clubs, schools and corporate businesses with our world-class advice, support and coaching.

We do this through a number of different products, services and activities.

The most recent and exclusive product available for all cricketers and coaches to learn is our cricket DVD called "The Components of Cricket". Cricket information available on this DVD covers basics and exclusive high-level information. The DVD is available through Greg Chappell Cricket Centre or through our website. The reason it is called The Components of Cricket is each segment from the DVD is available for purchase. This offers you the opportunity to target the specific skill you would like to develop.

Cricket players, clubs and school at all levels can take advantage of our high performance coaching staff with services including private coaching, group or team coaching, our "Kids Cricket Fun Sessions", "High Performance School of Cricket"and our Winter specialist squads.

Our "School of Cricket" provides a professional training sessions for the serious cricketer with three terms commencing in August, October and February each year. The school creates confidence in competition with high-level training, coaching and development of cricketers from 7 to 10 and 11 to 15 years of age.

Development Seminars and Workshops will provide exclusive information on any topic relevant to cricket from the skills of batting, bowling and fielding to developing a positive team or club environment and more specific topics such as captaincy.

Cricket coaching is available to all players of all ages throughout SEQ. Our coaching staff will visit any club or school requiring specialist coaching and support. We currently a number of contracts to schools across Queensland and have travelled all over Australia to coach at special events.

SHANE JURGENSEN - Profile

The man behind HPC is Shane Jurgensen. Shane represented three states at First-class cricket being Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia and holds two special achievements. He is the first cricketer in history to take 10 wickets or more in a Sheffield Shield Final / Pura Cup Final. He was also the first to take a First-class hat-trick at Bellerive Oval in March 2002. As a young man he represented Australia at Youth levels in Under 19 and Under 17 and attended the world famous Cricket Australia Centre of Excellence (Formerly Cricket Academy) in 1994.

Shane has gained enormous amounts of experience on his travels from playing in three states of Australia and playing cricket and coaching overseas in the UK. At 33 years of age Shane has has been coaching cricket at a number of different levels since the age of 20.

Shane has conducted a number of different community programs. These include the "Smarter Choices" program he conducted for four years that helped over 3000 year 7 students, "Queenslanders in the Community" targets the development of high school students and Shane headed the Queensland Bulls players own "Charity Committee" from 2005 to 2007.

CURRENTLY Shane is Bowling Coach for the New Zealand Cricket Team or "Blackcaps". In 2009 the Blackcaps have some tough challanges including the Indian Cricket Team in New Zealand, 20/20 World Cup in the UK, ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa and home series in late 2009 against Pakistan.
